A few
good questions.
The original blanket uses a lightweight linen blend that repels sand and dries quickly. Its label doubles as a fastener, keeping the blanket together when rolled.
The Classic Regular measures 45 × 60 inches (114.3 × 152.4 cm). Grande measures 60 × 75 inches (152.4 × 190.5 cm). The current catalog’s Islas Filipinas and Pintados towels measure 69 × 38.5 inches (175.26 × 97.79 cm). Editions can differ; confirm the dimensions of the selected item before ordering.
Our beach blankets are made by our sewing community in Taytay, Rizal, in the Philippines. Production began in Biñan, Laguna, when Lagu launched in January 2012, and relocated after the pandemic.
